Reportedly, it was the most expensive movie ever made in China up to that point, and it looks it.ĭragons Forever. But if I had to, it would be this one, which captures Jackie in his prime along with some totally over-the-top choreography from the great Yuen Woo Ping. If I had to pick just one Jackie Chan movie… well, I wouldn’t. While everybody rants about the chase scene, which is admittedly thrilling, my favourite bit from the movie is when he fights that last guy at the kickboxing bar who’s martial-arts style seems to be composed entirely of picking up large objects and throwing them. The only thing you can remotely compare Tony Jaa to is Jackie Chan in his prime, but the whole Thailandese fighting style is just fucking crazy cool. I second Ong Bak Warrior, which is one bad-ass flick.
